IBERIABANK Corporation , the holding company of the 114-year-old IBERIABANK (http://www.iberiabank.com) announced that John N. Casbon has joined its Board of Directors. John is Executive Vice President of First American Title Insurance Company and CEO and President of First American Transportation Title Insurance Company, a member of the First American Corporation family of Companies. First American's Transportation Company is headquartered in New Orleans. Bill Fenstermaker, Chairman of IBERIABANK Corporation's Board of Directors, remarked, "John brings immeasurable skills and corporate experience to our board. John's knowledge of the New Orleans community will be a huge resource to our company as we continue to develop our franchise in the city."

As a community leader, John's contribution to New Orleans and the state are many. He founded the New Orleans Police Foundation in 1995 for the purpose of linking businesses with the police department. He also serves as Chairman of the Louisiana Chapter of the World Presidents Organization, as well as Director of the State Police Foundation. In addition to serving as a board member of the American Land Title Association, John currently serves on the board of the Business Council of New Orleans.

John received the 1998 FBI Director's Community Leadership Award for his role in creating and leading the New Orleans Police Foundation and was also the recipient of the Anti-Defamation League's 1998 A.I. Botnick Torch of Liberty Award. In 1999, the Mayor of the City of New Orleans awarded him the Mayor's Medal of Honor.
